AI-Assisted Exploratory Testing for Healthcare Software Based on STEEEP Domain of Healthcare Quality

In this presentation, the primary objective is to introduce an innovative AI-assisted self-generating exploratory test automation model designed specifically for healthcare software applications. The overarching goal of this platform is to elevate the quality assurance process within the realm of healthcare software by dynamically formulating, executing, and adapting test scenarios. These scenarios are meticulously crafted to align with the crucial STEEEP (Safe, Timely, Effective, Efficient, Equitable, and Patient-Centered) healthcare quality domain, thereby fostering an improvement in software quality and the overall efficacy of healthcare software systems. Operating on a foundation of Gherkin language and utilizing a STEEEP-based rule engine, the model systematically gathers information about the healthcare software under examination, encompassing its specifications, behavior, and requirements in BDD format. With minimal AI assistance, the model dynamically generates test scenarios based on the compiled data, subsequently subjecting them to automated vetting through the STEEEP model. The ensuing test results are thoroughly analyzed, with a specific focus on the STEEEP healthcare quality dimensions, and the model applies STEEEP healthcare dimensions alongside Hoare axioms to ensure the meticulous vetting of test scenarios, catering to the nuanced requirements of each quality dimension.
