Care by Design: Exploring What Happens When the Ways We Have Learned to Survive, Succeed, and Care No Longer Fit the Conditions We Face
In a landscape constantly reshaped by workplace shifts, caregiving demands, and rapid technological disruption, the strategies you once used to survive and succeed may no longer fit the reality you face. Designed specifically for women navigating today’s complex tech environment, 'Care by Design' invites you to step back when old coping mechanisms stop working and shift your focus from asking "what’s next?" to reclaiming "what’s important." Rather than offering unrealistic promises to fix every unchosen circumstance, this transformative session helps you recognize where your genuine care has quietly transformed into an exhausting burden of carrying. Through immersive story, reflection, and a practical six-step framework—metaphorically packed like a Mary Poppins bag—you will examine what matters to you right now and distinguish what you cannot control from what remains available to influence. You’ll acquire a versatile set of practical tools to test, adapt, and iterate as your conditions evolve, allowing you to redirect your energy toward meaningful, actionable choices. Ultimately, you will leave with a repeatable practice for personal agency, a refreshed lens for the collaborative workshops that follow, and a renewed capacity to design space for possibility, resilience, and purpose in your career and life.
