Beyond the Dev Box: Claude Code Across the Entire Performance Testing Lifecycle
Claude Code has taken the software development world by storm, and for good reason. Developers are using it to write, refactor, and ship code faster than ever before. But something is missing from this conversation. Performance engineers, who stand to benefit just as much, have largely been on the sidelines watching. This gap is becoming harder to ignore as teams are expected to do more with less and deliver performance insights at the speed of modern software delivery. Claude Code is not just a developer tool; it is a performance engineering powerhouse, and it is time to prove it. Kaushal Dalvi shares his experiences applying Claude Code across every stage of the performance testing lifecycle, from workload modeling and test script generation to bottleneck analysis, reporting, and CI/CD integration. Through real working examples and demos, you will see what is possible when Claude Code is unleashed on the full performance testing lifecycle. Walk away with a new perspective on what your team can accomplish and a clear picture of where to start.
Since he got his first computer at age thirteen, Kaushal Dalvi has been interested in systems and software performance. He spent days researching performance characteristics of different motherboards, CPUs, GPUs, RAM, and disks to configure and overclock them in order to squeeze the maximum frames per second out of the games he played. Kaushal built and maintained websites for local businesses, where he started learning about performance and reliability. He developed a taste for it, and now ten years later he continues working in the same field as the director of quality and performance engineering at Ultimate Software, leading teams that deal with workload modeling, test scripting and execution, bottleneck analysis, debugging, and much more.
