Mobile web and mobile apps make up an increasing segment of the digital space, but they are often an afterthought to test automation strategies. In this session, Elizabeth Miller reflects on the journey taken by Darden Restaurants over the past eighteen months in defining and implementing an automated test strategy to support their mobile platforms. For an organisation like Darden, technology support is a vital part of the success of the organisation. From supplier engagement to tool selection to automation architecture, Elizabeth shares what has worked (and what hasn’t!) for her organization. Discover the questions to ask yourself and your team to decide on a cloud-based, emulator, live device, or hybrid approach. Know how to investigate how this impacts tool and partner selection. Whether you have already kicked off an automation effort or you are just asking “Is the time right to automate?” Leave this session with new perspectives on how to make your mobile platform automation efforts a success.
